Our Workshops
Each presentation is made appropriate to specific age groups and level of development of the students.
Our content is primarily Religious Sexual Educational where we do cover RSE hours for school teachers and students however we also do offer retreat style presentations and workshops and facilitate group discussion among peers.
All of our speakers are Garda Vetted and have undergone Child Protection Training.
We are a faith-based organisation, however our presentation can be tailored to suit your requirements regardless of your schools/group’s ethos or beliefs.
The Benefits of our Presentation
Many wonderful things come from learning how to love authentically: sexual health, respect, confidence, freedom, peace, friendship, lasting relationships, self-worth, the list is endless!
At Pure in Heart, we regard our sexuality as one of God’s most beautiful and exciting gifts! But like everything, it’s been given to us with a purpose.
It has become very evident that casual attitudes towards sex have left many young people in circumstances in which they were not prepared for example: unexpected pregnancies, STI’s, or serious heartbreak.
‘The presentation made me think about how I viewed myself and how I wanted others to see me.’ Lucy, 18, Dublin
‘Since hearing the Pure in Heart presentation and trying to put it into practice in my life, I have experienced great peace and freedom. The more that I pray and learn the more I see how amazing and beautiful God’s plan for love and for our sexuality is and I will never be content to settle for anything less.’ Joanna, 20, Kildare
We believe that when God created sex, he created it to be the most intimate expression of love between two people. We are committed to spreading this message about true love that lasts, so that many other young people experience this joy in their lives also.

A suggestion; we can present our talks during a single or double Religion Class/ RSE class hours or our we could also do a series of our talks spread over a number of weeks or classes which allows the students to fully engage, discuss and think about the content before exploring further.
We discuss all the content and length of time during the booking process. We aim to be very flexible and understanding to the school’s and student’s needs.
Number of Students per talk
Past experience proves that students interact better in slightly smaller settings, however if it’s a very large group (approximately over 150) we would be grateful if you would mention this in advance so we can come prepared with appropriate equipment.
Location
We come to your school and deliver our talks on your school site.
We can organise a separate site if you wish but it is not necessary as many schools and their students find it easier and more accessible when our speakers come to their school.
What is the typical response from the students?
We request anonymous feedback from every student that hears our presentation. The feedback we receive is overwhelmingly positive. The students often comment that our speakers are always respectful, fun and extremely genuine and deliver an important message in a light-hearted fashion. Students benefit from hearing our mission team members, who are carefully chosen with varying and contrasting life experience and backgrounds. This enables us to deliver a balanced and well-rounded approach, that every student can relate to in some way.
